About Us
Who we are and what we do

Bray Area Partnership is one of 38 local development companies in Ireland. Our mission is to tackle social exclusion and disadvantage in the Bray area, using a partnership approach.

In practice this means that we work with local communities, groups and agencies to identify what the issues are for some of the most disadvantaged individuals and communities in the Bray area - and to develop and support relevant collaborative responses, such as new initiatives and projects.

We offer a wide range of supports to local individuals, groups and communities, through our different programmes.

These include direct services for people who are unemployed, enterprise supports, resourcing and funding for local projects and initiatives, and our education and community development grants schemes.

You can read more about this work in the Our Programmes section of this website.

Our work is guided by our Area Action Plan, which is informed by extensive local consultation and sets out our strategy for tackling social exclusion and disadvantage for the target groups we work with - such as long-term unemployed people, older people, Travellers, people with disabilities, young people at risk, disadvantaged women and men, and homeless people.

People from all sectors of the local community are involved on all of our decision-making structures and the development of our work programme.
