Bray Advocacy Service

The Bray Advocacy Service gives a voice to adults with intellectual disabilities. It supports them to express their own viewpoint, make decisions on issues that affect them, and get their rights and entitlements.

The Bray Advocacy Service is a pilot project funded by the Citizens Information Board. It is managed by a local committee drawn from voluntary, statutory and community organisations.

The service is based in Bray Partnership's offices. Patty O'Malley is the Disability Advocate working with the service.

The kind of supports the Disability Advocate can offer are:

Support to get information you need
Protect your rights and support you to get your rights and entitlements
Attend a meeting with you
Support you to decide what you want to happen
Make sure your views are listened to

If you would like to find out more about the service, or make an appointment, contact Patty O'Malley, Disability Advocate
